I've been playing around with my trailer for Lost in Paradise (released this-coming Friday!!), and here's an almost-finished version. I thought I'd see what my blog readers today think. There's a bit at the beginning that's sans music...I'm still trying to decide if it works.
What do you think?

I have to admit to expecting some music at the beginning... I turned up my volume, and up, and up and then WHAMMO! I got blasted when it did start...
Love the pictures. HOT...
Very intriguing. Like the music.
I look forward to reading it.
I would have the music start in the beginning. People will be too busy adjusting the volume not realizing its meant to be that way. Love the end! Liz
I actually like that it was silent and then the music hits you. I like it. Now I want to know who she's hiding from.
I didn't like the beginning at all. In my artsy/drama opinion it's overkill. You don't start suck people in until the part where the music starts. From there on out it rocks, though!
For the unsuspecting listener, the silence is too confusing, in my opinion.
I would put music at the beginning too, something that underlines an awareness of a change of venue (like Beethoven's "Für Elise", the last section, when the main theme returns - Elise being about loss).
(Thank you for visiting my Strawberry blog, my "playground", my main blog is Vienna for Beginners.)
Thanks for all the warning about music starting later. Now, the music's great. :D
